Brant Broughton is continuing with the best summer party following the success in 2010 with 12 acts on two stages and entertainment for the whole family.
All proceeds from the festival taking place on the Playing Field in Brant Broughton on August 27, 2011 will go towards the new village hall fund. The all weather event will include bands from London, Liverpool, Southampton and even Berlin as well as local bands from Newark and Lincoln.
Night Parade from Liverpool is headlining again this year with Southampton’s top band, Dlugokecki and The Jooles from Berlin plus many more local bands. A late addition to the line up is Ben Clarke, originally from Lincoln and is now based between London and New York, where he performs with a band called the Trans-Atlantic Family Band.
The George pub and hotel from Leadenham will provide real ale and a full bar with a hog roast all day. All the summer festival essentials will be available from ice-cream to CD of your favourite act and other promotions including t-shirts will be on sale. Entertainment will be on show throughout the event. Children entertainment includes circus and theatre workshops as well as a balloon modelling stilt walker and parachute games.
Gates open at 3 pm and free car parking to the event will be adjacent to the Playing Field. Family tickets are available to include 2 adults and 2 children between 12 and 16. Children 11 and under go free.
